SENIOR APPLICATIONS ENGINEER - Taiwan

Job Description

This position interfaces with customers, sales personnel, and training field sales providing technical support. Position is expected to provide pre-sales and post sales support to help qualify, define, and specify ASIC designs. Specific responsibilities include:

- Accompanying Sales personnel on customer visits to understand customer requirements
- Performing presentation/demonstrations on Key ASIC’s technology and capabilities and assisting with Customer's Design development.
- Understanding customer's projects and making product recommendations
- Creating marketing collateral like datasheet, application notes, white papers and competitive analysis
- Interacting with development and sales team to make our products a technical and commercial success

Qualifications

- BS/MS EE, CE, or CSE, as well as a minimum of five (5) years of design experience with FPGA or ASIC designs or as an FAE.
- Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL hardware description languages
- Knowledge of digital logic/ASIC/FPGA design methodology
- Understanding of simulation/synthesis and verification flows
- Knowledge of bus standard IP including PCI-Express, USB, 1394, LVDS.

- Knowledge of ARM CPUs, architecture, and programming.
- Exposure to Design Reuse
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills
- Independent and self-motivated
- Professional attitude and strong desire to succeed
- Ability and willingness to travel
