General Description

The Key ASIC VoIP SoC offers a high integration solution for WiFi handheld phones and dual-mode cellular phones. The SoC is based on a high performance ARM926EJS processor and integrates all the required peripherals, including the WLAN base-band circuitry required for WiFi access.  A complete VoIP system can be implemented with only the addition of external DRAM and Flash memories and the WLAN Radio chip.  Extensive on-chip power management capability minimizes power dissipation and extends battery life for handheld applications.  A reference design with complete Linux based VoIP software suite is available for fast time-to-market.
